It says it has been in business 27 years, and its website names Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, Harpswell, Falmouth, Auburn and Cape Elizabeth as its service area. A recent Google reviewer from Tedford described Warren as its partner while Tedford built a new $9M headquarters and shelter facility in 2024-25. That customer wrote that in the bid process, and when some divisions had to be re-bid, the company could always explain which subs had bid and how the decisions worked out. The same reviewer said Dave M. kept regularly scheduled meetings for the build team with a thorough agenda and notes from the last conversation, and that the supervisor, Mike M., was always available at the job site and answered questions. After slowdowns from federal funding rules and then weather, the reviewer wrote, the company worked to get the project to the finish line by the ribbon-cutting date. A mainebiz.biz article names Warren Construction Group as general contractor of an expansion project. **Strengths:** - Clear bid process — a recent customer said re-bids were explained sub by sub - Regular build meetings — a recent customer described thorough agendas with notes - An available supervisor — a recent customer said Mike M. answered questions on site ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as an employee-owned construction management and general contracting company working throughout Maine _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.warrenconstructiongroup.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Warren Construction Group is a 100% employee-owned construction management and general contracting company …” - Says it has been in business 27 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.warrenconstructiongroup.com) — “Self-reported 27 years in business” - A recent Google customer said the company explained which subs had bid during the bid and re-bid process _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2t0NlNHUkRRMU5CVFhKdU5rbHdSUzF5TTBGMlJXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xec7efc6617af0951!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkt6SGRDQ1NBTXJuNklwRS1yM0F2RWc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Warren Construction was an ideal partner as Tedford built our new $9M headquarters and shelter facility in 2024-25.
