## The honest read

Watertown Cleaning Inc. cleans carpets, area rugs and upholstery, and its website lists Watertown, Waterbury and Porter as its service area. On Google it holds 5 stars from 89 ratings, and its BBB grade is an A+.

A recent customer said their crew arrived on time, inspected the work area to confirm the job scope, and hand dried adjacent hard floor as needed. A recent customer spoke with Paul on the phone about carpets and a tile floor's grout and was scheduled for same-day service; that customer said Julio and Raul came out on time. A recent customer who called on a weekend got an immediate text back, and an off-white shag rug that was very soiled on one side came back a week later "literally perfect." A recent business customer described Amari and her team restoring carpeting in an office building that had not been professionally cleaned or maintained in over 30 years.

A 2026 customer dropped off 3 vintage upholstered chairs and 2 large area rugs for deep cleaning and said Paul delivered them when they were ready. A 2025 customer described a puff back with extensive soot staining and said Paul explained everything on the phone and came out quickly for an assessment. A 2025 customer said a light grey area rug soiled by an elderly dog was picked up, worked on all week and brought back with no trace of the stain. A 2024 customer had 5 rugs left in a house they purchased picked up and returned, and said the prices were nearly half those of other companies.

A 2025 customer gave 3 stars, saying there were issues with the thoroughness and quality of the initial cleaning; they credited the company for coming back to try to do a better job but said they would have to clean up after them. A 2022 customer first praised a carpet cleaning by Raul and Dana, then added an update saying the last carpet service was bad, the two workers used nasty language and did not pay attention to detail, and they would never use the company again.
