# Waverley Painting **Trade:** House Painting · **Address:** Thayer Rd, Belmont, MA 02478, USA · **Phone:** (617) 932-1164 · **Website:** http://waverleypainting.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.0/5** (low confidence) — from 1 reviews across 4 sources. ## The honest read Mike started painting as a teenager working for his father's painting company, and the shop he runs now — Waverley Painting, out of Belmont — is built the same way: owner-operated, with Benjamin Moore as the default paint. He says he has more than 15 years in the trade. The work covers interior and exterior painting for houses and commercial spaces, plus cabinets, sheds and power washing. The Angi listing adds specialty painting and concrete floor coating, and offers free estimates and warranties. A 2022 Google reviewer described the parts of a paint job a homeowner actually notices: a clear written estimate, a completion timeframe set up front, arriving on time, care taken around personal property, close attention to detail, and the painted areas left neat and clean. Google shows a 5-star average across three ratings. For a Belmont-area repaint handled by the person who quotes it — interior rooms, exterior trim, a cabinet job — Waverley fits that shape. Have Mike spell out the preparation in the estimate (how many coats, what gets scraped, primed and caulked), settle what the warranty covers, and confirm current insurance before the ladders go up. **Strengths:** - Written estimates — a 2022 reviewer cited a clear estimate and timeframe - Careful finish work — a 2022 review noted painted areas left neat and clean - Owner-operated — Mike says he has over 15 years painting - Benjamin Moore paint — the company's default on jobs **Where sources disagree:** - The company's site says Mike has over 15 years in the industry, while its Angi listing states 12 years of experience ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A small Belmont, MA painting company doing interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, plus cabinet and shed painting and power washing _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](http://waverleypainting.com) — “A small Belmont, MA painting company offering interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, plus cabinet/shed painting and powe…” - Uses Benjamin Moore paint by default _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://waverleypainting.com) — “A small Belmont, MA painting company offering interior and exterior residential and commercial painting, plus cabinet/shed painting and powe…” - Owner-operated by Mike, who says he has over 15 years in the industry and started painting in his teens at his father's painting company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://waverleypainting.com) — “Ownership (self-reported): Owner-operated by Mike, who states over 15 years in the industry and says he started painting in his teens workin…” - A 2022 Google reviewer cited a clear written estimate, an agreed completion timeframe, on-time arrival, respect for personal property and painted areas left neat and clean _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUMyaUpIUUFREAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x14f0e1251a89c5ec!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIC2iJHQAQ%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Mike is great to work with from start to finish.
