## The honest read

We Got A Guy Roofing & Remodeling says it has provided roofing and construction services since 2008 and names Waterbury as its service area. It carries a 4.7-star Google rating from 131 ratings and an A- grade from the BBB.

A recent customer said the company replaced their roof six years ago, and when the area around the chimney developed a leak, they were there fixing it three days after being notified. A recent customer said We Got A Guy did windows on the front of the house for a fraction of the price of the windows Anderson put on the back. In 2025, a customer said that after a hail storm Jeff Rustico dealt with the insurance company, the roof was replaced, and the house was vinyl sided over the old cedar siding.

A recent customer called their porch and deck well made and liked the fact "Mark showed up often to check the work being done." A recent customer said Mark sent his plumber Teddy, who left the kitchen and bathroom "in perfect condition." A 2025 customer said a toilet leak was inspected the same day and repaired first thing on Christmas Eve morning. In 2024, a customer described a new gas line run up from the basement and an exhaust built from scratch for a new gas range, encased in custom cabinetry, over two days of work.

A 2024 customer said a roof the company installed in November 2020 began losing shingles by the end of September 2023, and that another roofer told them the shingles were improperly installed. That 2024 customer also said an email to the company about it got no response. A 2023 customer said a quote came in thousands more than what was discussed in person and the company was unresponsive when they tried to negotiate.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0699661, as active, held by We Got A Guy LLC.

**Strengths:**
- Quick leak follow-up — a recent customer said they returned within three days
- Insurance roof claim — a 2025 customer said Jeff Rustico handled the insurer
- Same-day toilet inspection — a 2025 customer had it repaired Christmas Eve morning

**Concerns:**
- Shingle installation — a 2024 customer said a 2020 roof shed shingles by 2023
- Quote over budget — a 2023 customer said it ran thousands above discussed
