A recent Google customer wrote that a technician they named as Mario/Reuben kept the appointment on time and explained the process to re-activate the boiler, where water mixing with fuel oil had clogged the strainer. The company says it has been in business 88 years, and its website lists a service area of twelve towns including Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and New Canaan. A 2025 customer wrote that Westmore had been delivering their oil and that Mario explained everything during a boiler tune-up. A 2026 customer said that on a frigid day Michael was at the door in under an hour and solved a boiler problem within 30 minutes. A 2023 customer said Mario was at the house within 30 minutes when the system failed heading into a holiday weekend, and came up with a temporary fix to get the furnace running until a part arrived. A 2025 customer on automatic delivery said the company failed to deliver in time and the tanks ran dry; a technician came two hours later with 15 gallons to get them through until a truck filled the tanks the next day. A 2025 reviewer said two techs checking the boiler brought no drop cloths and left soot on the basement carpets, walls and floors. A 2023 customer objected to an extra 30 minutes billed as a travel fee. A 2022 customer said the oil was billed at a higher rate than the contract price a sales rep had quoted. **Strengths:** - A quick no-heat visit — a 2026 customer said Michael arrived in under an hour - A clean furnace service — a recent customer said the area was left clean - A holiday-weekend fix — a 2023 customer said Mario found a temporary fix **Concerns:** - A missed auto-delivery — a 2025 customer said the tanks ran dry - A soot mess — a 2025 reviewer said techs left soot in the basement - A travel-fee charge — a 2023 customer objected to an extra 30 minutes billed ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Delivers heating oil, including automatic delivery _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xCTExYbFFaWFpaVVUxSVpXZGZZbkozV1MxVFFuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x1ed24c5aa5f3fc82!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlBLLXlQZXZZUU1IZWdfYnJ3WS1TQnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We've had Westmore delivering oil and they are great!
