## The honest read

Wilmington Wiring Corporation is a Methuen, MA electrical contractor whose Massachusetts electrician license (#13497) is active in the state registry, held by John R. Garrett.

BuildZoom's permit records for the company — 530 projects — are almost entirely commercial and municipal electrical work: utility make-ready installs for DC fast chargers, and EV charging stations at office buildings, municipal parking lots, and a college, plus one small plumbing permit. BuildZoom's own score for the company, 104, is based on that permit history rather than customer reviews.

This looks like a company built around larger commercial and municipal electrical installations rather than typical homeowner jobs.

Confirm they take on residential work, and verify current licensing directly with the state, before booking a house call.

**Strengths:**
- Active electrician license — state registry confirms license 13497 is active
- Extensive project volume — BuildZoom counts 530 permitted electrical projects

**Concerns:**
- Mostly commercial work — permit history is almost all commercial and municipal EV charging
