Google shows 5 stars from 10 ratings. A 2026 customer said the crew replaced a sewer grinder pump with a loaner pump on the very first day and was quick to install the new pump when the parts arrived. A 2026 reviewer recommended the company for anything that comes up with a water well and called Bob extremely honest. On Reddit in 2023, a North Stamford commenter wrote that Bob had just replaced their well pump and that they were very happy with the company. In 2024, a customer said Bob came within one hour on a Saturday when water seeped up through the floorboards, checked the sump pump and explained it was working fine. That 2024 customer said he traced the seepage to no perimeter wall or adequate draining and pointed out waterproofing fixes around the house. A 2024 customer whose sump pump failed after a storm said Bob recommended an improved sump pump system, the work was done promptly and on budget, and the new system was significantly quieter. Its Connecticut plumbing licence, PLM.0277538-P1, is active, held by Robert C Wilmot Jr. **Strengths:** - Grinder pump loaner — a 2026 customer had one in on the first day - Saturday response — a 2024 customer said Bob came within one hour - Quieter sump system — a 2024 customer called the new system significantly quieter - Well pump replacement — a 2023 Reddit commenter said Bob replaced theirs ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 10 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Wilmot%20Hydro%20Mechanical%20Co&query_place_id=ChIJnV9zsRKhwokR4Zf_rYgNgoc) — “Google: 5★ from 10 ratings” - A 2026 customer had a sewer grinder pump replaced, with a loaner pump the first day _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xKVVIycEVOSEZaYUhocFNIWnJURzg0T1ZOa1MyYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x87820d88adff97e1!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlJUR2pENHFZaHhpSHZrTG84OVNkS2c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ The crew worked really hard to get my sewer grinder pump replaced with a loaner pump on the very first day.
