A 2025 customer had very overgrown hemlocks trimmed and then maintained, and called the prices affordable. A 2024 customer said it was their third time hiring Chuck, and that they showed up when they said they would, were cautious around the house and cleaned up after themselves. A 2024 customer who hired Chuck for a tree removal said he was fast, efficient and clean, and that his workers were polite. A 2024 customer quoted a job in Watertown, CT, to three contractors and said Woodchuck's gave the best quote and did the work promptly. Scheduling and follow-through are where things went wrong. A 2025 customer who hired the company for tree work and trimming said he was 40 minutes late to the quoting appointment, never sent the quote or the Certificate of Insurance they asked for, and missed several promised completion dates; after a month of delay, that customer told the company they no longer needed its services. A 2022 customer said Charles was a no-show for a cleanup and did not answer follow-up texts for two weeks. A 2021 customer said the owner promised to remove a big tree and never called or showed up. **Strengths:** - Hemlock trimming — a 2025 customer had overgrown hemlocks trimmed and maintained - A competitive quote — a 2024 customer said it was the best of three - Repeat hiring — a 2024 customer said it was their third time hiring Chuck - A clean site — a 2024 customer said they cleaned up after themselves **Concerns:** - Missed completion dates — a 2025 customer cancelled after a month of delay - Missing paperwork — a 2025 customer never got a quote or insurance certificate - Cleanup no-show — a 2022 customer said Charles never came for cleanup - Tree removal no-show — a 2021 customer said the owner never showed up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2025 customer had overgrown hemlocks trimmed and then maintained _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnTURvbWI2SkN3EAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x99c523090fab1afe!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgMDomb6JCw%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I would definitely recommend woodchuck and his crew!
