## The honest read

Wyman Energy Services delivers heating oil and works on furnaces, boilers and air conditioners, with a stated service area that includes Manchester, Bolton, Coventry, Glastonbury and Hebron. A recent customer says service was excellent from the moment they requested it, along with an oil delivery, and that the technicians were friendly and helpful. It holds 4.8 stars from 187 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the BBB.

A recent customer says the estimate was thousands less than two other estimates, and that the old one was removed and replaced with a new one and everything was cleaned up. A recent customer says a brand new AC was installed before they even got home. A Hebron customer says Austin and his team explain everything thoroughly and clean up the area better than when they found it. A recent customer who has worked with Wyman on close to a dozen projects, from single family to small commercial, describes new installs and maintenance of existing HVAC and water heaters.

On the oil side, a 2025 customer on an automatic refill plan wrote that Rocky reached out to check on them when they were very close to running out, and that the company filled the tank on a Saturday. A 2025 customer said a hot water heater failed at 7 p.m. on a Monday, a technician was dispatched the next morning, and hot water was restored by 1 p.m. Tuesday. A 2023 customer wrote that three of four companies quoted thousands of dollars to replace the head unit of a ductless AC system, while Wyman said it could replace just the broken part at a fraction of the cost. A 2023 customer whose furnace was ruined by a flood wrote that companies they had called said they couldn't get a new one in before the cold weather, and Wyman got it done.

A recent renter says invoices for mechanical services are sent to them instead of the landlord, and that this has happened twice. A 2025 customer whose furnace kept shutting off on a Saturday wrote that a technician told them they would be waiting until Monday at 8am, that it took a total of 9 hours to get service after the first call, and that they planned to change oil companies. A 2025 customer wrote that a technician worked on their furnace for two hours on a Saturday without getting it to keep running, and that it was working after a return visit on Monday. A 2023 customer wrote that after three parts were replaced, the company argued it is normal for shower water to get colder after three minutes. A 2026 customer asked for a heads-up on when oil is being delivered and what it costs, after being shocked at the cost of the last delivery.

**Strengths:**
- A Saturday tank fill — a 2025 customer on auto refill had the tank filled
- A lower install estimate — a recent quote came in thousands under two others
- A single-part AC fix — a 2023 customer was offered one part, not a new unit
- Next-day water heater fix — a 2025 customer had hot water back by 1 pm

**Concerns:**
- Billing sent to tenant — a recent renter says invoices went to them twice
- A weekend furnace wait — a 2025 customer said service took 9 hours
- A shower temperature dispute — a 2023 customer called someone else after three parts
