## The honest read

Paint and drywall are what Sergio's crew at X Construction gets praised for. In a May 2023 review, a homeowner said other contractors walking through the house later commented on how well the drywall was done, tricky arches and dropped ceilings included, and that the team stuck to schedule and kept checking in. Another May 2023 customer described a second floor that had not been painted since the house was built, with tons of prep work, left looking like a new house. In June 2025, a customer tired of faded blue siding had the whole house painted very quickly, and another that month praised a bathroom renovation.

The company holds 5 stars across 14 Google ratings and says it has over 10 years of experience in painting, drywall, flooring, finish carpentry, and kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0664447, is active, held by X Construction Home Improvement LLC. It says it offers free estimates and is insured.

**Strengths:**
- Drywall finish — a 2023 client heard other contractors praise it
- House painting — 2023 and 2025 reviews describe interior and exterior repaints
- On schedule — a 2023 crew stuck to the timeline and checked in
