## The honest read

Xavier Construction is a Medford, Massachusetts general contractor that says it's been family-owned and operated for more than 15 years, taking on kitchen and bathroom remodels, siding, basement renovations, decks and additions, along with finish carpentry, framing, painting, and power washing.

There isn't yet an independent review history or verified licensing record to weigh against that self-description, so there's no track record of actual jobs to point to one way or another.

Anyone considering them should ask for references, proof of licensing and insurance, and specifics on recent, similar jobs before booking, since right now the only account of the business is its own.

**Strengths:**
- Family-owned business — self-reports over 15 years in Medford
