## The honest read

Five extremely tall trees taken down, plus one that had already fallen: that was one recent customer's job for Y&B Landscaping Tree Services, and they said Jason and his team paid close attention to leaving the lawn as it was when they arrived. The company says it has helped homeowners across the Valley since 2015 and names Ansonia as its service area. On Google it holds 5 stars from 85 ratings.

A recent customer said Jason and his brother were on site leading the work, the job was done in one day, and nothing on the property was damaged even though some huge trees stood close to the house. A recent customer whose tree was up against two houses said they removed it smoothly with no issues. In a 2025 review, a customer said four dead trees were taken down and seven stumps ground in one day, including a very large tree close to the house.

A recent customer who needed trees and bushes removed and the yard leveled and seeded said Y&B came in almost $4,000 lower than the others they got quotes from. A recent customer had Y&B excavate the back yard, removing large rocks and roots, then level and seed it. On a smaller job, Jason brought his crew to clean up a recent customer's front yard and along the street, trimming the grass and cutting branches growing over the street signs.

Its Better Business Bureau page shows a C+ grade and one complaint.

**Strengths:**
- Trees near houses — huge trees removed with no damage, a recent customer said
- Below-competitor quote — almost $4,000 under other quotes, one customer said
- Yard leveling — a recent customer had the yard excavated, leveled and seeded
- Same-hour quote — a recent customer had a quote within an hour

**Concerns:**
- BBB grade C+ — the Better Business Bureau lists one complaint
