## The honest read

Call Yellow Dog about a dead water heater and someone tends to be at the house that morning. One customer in September 2025 had a water tank replaced within hours of a same-day visit; another in October 2025 had Jeffrey out the same day to look at the job and a new hot water heater in the next.

Yellow Dog Home Services trades as Yellow Dog Plumbing, Heating & Cooling out of 19 Kearney Rd in Needham Heights, founded by Pat Dunn. The company says it answers the phone live around the clock and offers same-day service, and it names a service area running from Arlington and Cambridge through Brookline, Lexington, Natick, Framingham and Milton. The work spans both trades — boilers, furnaces, air conditioning, gas lines, drain clearing, camera inspections, burst pipes and water heaters.

Speed and price are what customers write about. A February 2026 customer said honest service saved them a bundle. In April 2026, a homeowner on a $2,500 plumbing job said everyone from the front desk to the plumbers answered promptly and dealt with them professionally.
