One recent customer said the company came right after the call, presented a proposal without any wait, and its install team worked over one week on updated deer fencing; that customer called it fairly priced. A recent customer said the team installed a deer fence on a giant rock slab in their backyard. A 2026 customer said Young's installed about 270 feet of 7' deer fencing around an orchard on a relatively steep hillside, at a reasonable price. The company's website lists wood, vinyl, aluminum, picket, privacy, pool, split rail, chain link and deer fencing, and says it has been in business 25 years. A 2023 customer of Young's of Ridgefield said it had installed chainlink, cedar and vinyl on different properties over the years, and came back to fix things after trees damaged the fence during storms. Repairs are part of the work too. After a major storm damaged a fence, a recent customer said the company came out promptly, assessed the damage and got everything repaired. A recent customer described repair of existing split rail fencing and new pool compliant gates and hardware. A recent customer said the company visited the work site within 48 hours of the first call, and that Anne and her crew did the installation while the family was out of town. A 2026 customer who had moved to Katonah needed a fence to let cats go outside safely; after 8 estimates, that customer said Young's was one of the most affordable and installed a wood post fence and three custom wood gates. In 2024, a customer said Steve sent someone out when weather wear made the fence doors hard to open, and addressed it at no cost when the problem persisted. In 2022, a customer said the company showed up at the property unannounced and unscheduled on a Federal holiday and left numerous emails unanswered. A 2023 customer complained of no communication and said the company dropped off uninstalled fence caps and refused to return calls. **Strengths:** - Deer fence installs — one on a rock slab, one updated over a week - Storm repair — a recent customer said they came out promptly - A fast site visit — a recent customer said they came within 48 hours **Concerns:** - An unannounced visit — a 2022 customer said they came on a Federal holiday - Unreturned calls — a 2023 customer said calls went unreturned ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said the install team worked over one week on updated deer fencing at a fair price _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pKSGVVZ3RSVWx5UmtRMVJtRmhlSE5rYmpCU1NtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xe946c8da146579d6!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjJHeUgtRUlyRkQ1RmFheHNkbjBSSmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Young's Fencing was great - they came immediately after I called and presented a proposal without any wait.
