A recent comment on r/massachusetts said that while the name is silly, “they’re nice kids and they do exactly what you need.” In a 2026 review, a customer who moved off the island to western Massachusetts could not line up the move-out and move-in dates and used the company's storage space until the move; that customer wrote that everything went smoothly, the staff were competent, professional and friendly, and the cost was extremely reasonable. In a 2025 review, a customer who used the service to move cribs, mattresses and other items from Cape Cod to Nantucket said they got back quickly with a quote after the inquiry form and stayed flexible through several changes to the order. In a 2024 review, a customer wrote that they had helped out a few times: moving in a big couch, moving a friend's belongings from off island, moving a big bed into a loft, and helping ship huge paintings abroad. Another customer writing in 2024 said the crew (Wayne, Curren, Conner and Ace) could not have been more careful with their belongings and made unpacking a cinch. A family writing in 2024 said it used the company on 2 occasions, the last a complete clean out as it moved out of its house, and called Curren and company efficient, thorough and hard working. **Strengths:** - Storage between moves — 2026 off-island mover used their storage until move-in - Flexible quoting — 2025 customer changed the order several times without trouble - Careful handling — 2024 crew was careful with belongings, eased unpacking - Hard-working crew — 2024 family called Curren and company efficient, thorough ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Local coverage describes Your Friend With A Truck as a busy moving company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://fishernantucket.com/food-delivery-nantucket/) — “fishernantucket.com — running his busy moving company (which we highly recommend), Your Friend With A Truck, was leaving him with little tim…” - Rated 4.7 stars on Google from 31 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Your%20Friend%20With%20A%20Truck&query_place_id=ChIJlSiBQtTc-okRexNT1JfoB6s) — “Google: 4.7★ from 31 ratings” - A recent r/massachusetts comment said they do exactly what you need _(confidence: medium)_ - [reddit.com](https://www.reddit.com/r/massachusetts/comments/1tnq4yj/how_do_i_move_a_piece_of_equipment_off_the_island/onvwhk0/) — “r/massachusetts — It’s called “Your Friend With A Truck” — and while the name is silly, they’re nice kids and they do exactly what you need.” - In a 2026 review, a customer moving off the island used the company's storage space until the move and called the cost extremely reasonable _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=12324074644122571643&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ I moved off Island to Western, MA.
