This is a structural engineering practice rather than a building contractor. Its own description covers forensic investigation, foundation evaluation and repair, fire escapes, roof and rear decks, and expert-witness work, for residential and commercial buildings; Angi says the firm was founded in 1973 by Rene Mugnier, while the Better Business Bureau — which grades it A+ but records it as not accredited — logs a business start of 2006 and four employees. In a 2012 Cambridge Day report on a charity's dangerous repairs to a woman's home, it was Mugnier's office that had inspected three times and warned that its recommendations had gone unimplemented for six years.
