Xtreme Living Pools and Construction was a Plymouth, Massachusetts swimming pool and home improvement business owned by Steve (Steven) Docchio, and it is the subject of a sustained public enforcement record. In a March 2022 report, NBC10 Boston said the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation had issued Docchio a revocation order, ending his home improvement contractor registration. Prosecutors in Plymouth County have alleged he collected deposits on swimming pools and other projects totalling more than $500,000 and never completed the work; he pleaded guilty to larceny charges and was sentenced to state prison after admitting in Plymouth Superior Court to running a fraudulent swimming pool business. Coverage also records an arrest warrant issued after missed court appearances on nearly twenty counts tied to what prosecutors describe as unlicensed work, and a 2023 arrest. The pattern is not confined to one state. NBC10 Boston reported in November 2021 that Docchio had a criminal history in three New England states and owed consumers hundreds of thousands of dollars from civil judgments. BuildZoom records the Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board general contractor registration #41288 as cancelled, expired in March 2020, with no active licence on file. The customer record on file is thin and old, and it splits the same way. A March 2021 reviewer wrote "Do not hire him. He ran off with 25,000.00. of my money," saying he no longer held a contractor's licence in Rhode Island or Connecticut. An April 2021 reviewer described going to Yelp for the phone number and finding the negative reviews made them suspicious about the company's workmanship and ability to finish on time. A single February 2020 review called it a great company. BuildZoom's own page shows a score of zero and no active licence. No one should engage this business. If you have already paid a deposit to it, the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and the Plymouth County District Attorney's office are the places to take it.

April 16 2021 I went on Yelp to get the phone number of Xtreme Living Pools & Construction to schedule a consultation for an inground pool The negative reviews made me very suspicious about the company’s quality of workmanship and performance to complete the job on time.. Steve was Always professional and very knowledgeable to help us make the right choices , weather it was Steve or his employees Answering all our questions and always polite An the Finsh results were beyond our expectation . Xtreme Living, Pools & Construction . I Don’t Understand the negative reviews.. If you want a professional Company that believes in Customer satisfaction Please consider Xtreme Living, Pools and Construction Steve stand behind the products always ready to give good and positive advice. I have been a customer for 5yrs Xtreme Living Pools & Construction Is my first call for Home Improvement I do not trust the reviews I read. In the words of President Trump... "fake news!"
Do not hire him. He ran off with 25,000.00. of my money. I his dishonest and no longer has a contractors license in Rhode Island or Connecticut. There is going to be possible police action very shortly. He has done time in Connecticut for ripping people off. Do a search you will find it.
