Creating an account
How to sign up for Tavlee and what your account — the research desk — lets you do.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
You don’t need an account to search Tavlee or read any contractor’s page — everything is public. An account adds a place to keep your research: a shortlist you can return to and a way to compare contractors before you decide.
Choose Sign upand register with your email and a password, or use a social login. It takes about a minute. When you’re done, you land on your account — the research desk.
Your research desk
The account area is organized into a few tabs:
- Profile — your display name and location.
- Saved— the contractors you’ve saved with the heart, in one shortlist.
- Your businesses — any listings you’ve claimed, plus the status of claims in progress.
Saves follow you in
Saved a few contractors before signing up? You didn’t lose them. Saves you make with the heart are kept in your browser and merged into your account automatically the first time you sign in — after that they stay with your profile across devices.
Compare side by side
From your saved list you can compare two to four contractors at once, laid out side by side, so the trade-offs are easy to see before you reach out.
