When Gannett reporters wanted someone to explain what the South Shore housing market was doing last summer, they called Michelle Larnard. In an August 2025 piece she pushed back on the idea that August is quiet, saying buyers were seriously touring homes and sellers were realizing that pricing strategy is critical; two months earlier she told the same reporter that the buyer pool had exhausted its patience with waiting out mortgage rates. She is the broker and owner of Michelle Larnard Real Estate, an independently owned agency at 124 King Street in Cohasset. Its brokerage licence, 422714-RE-LC, is active on the Massachusetts registry under Michelle Larnard Real Estate Group LLC. The firm's own site describes seven sales agents and a marketing director alongside her, and names fourteen towns it covers, from Cohasset and Hingham out to Plymouth, Braintree and Milton. What exists publicly so far is the firm's own account of itself, that press commentary, and a November 2025 r/SouthShore thread where someone answered the question of who to use with her name and a link to the site. No client accounts have surfaced on any review platform, which is why there is no star rating here yet rather than a generous one. If you are selling on the South Shore and want a broker-owner who follows the local market closely enough to be quoted on it, she is worth a call. Ask for references and recent comparable sales in your own town, since there is not yet a public body of client feedback to read instead.
