- 3,260 people visited the site, over the past 30 days.
- Of these, 1,085 homeowners discovered a contractor's profile.
- Contractor profile pages were viewed a total of 1,523 times.
- Contractors who had visits represented over 170 towns, across every one of the 22 trades on the site.
The towns homeowners searched most
The contractors that drew the most attention were based in Brookline, Worcester, Salem, Arlington, Malden, Waltham and Boston, in that order. Brookline led by a wide margin, with 77 profile visits.
Cape Cod had a strong late-summer showing. Dennis, Barnstable, Yarmouth and Harwich together drew more than 120 profile visits, which fits the season. The rentals empty out after Labor Day, and the repair list comes out.
Where visitors were reading from
In the past month, 3,260 people visited Tavlee and searched for trusted, reliable pros. Ninety-nine percent of them were in the United States, and 85 percent were in Massachusetts. Boston led by a mile, followed by Cambridge, Medford, Somerville, Revere, Malden, Lynn, Worcester, Lowell and Quincy.
Beyond Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island each sent a couple of their own.
The trades homeowners were looking for
Remodelers and plumbers between them took more than a quarter of all visits, and electricians rounded out the top three. HVAC, landscapers and roofers came next, and we expect heating contractors to climb that list fast once October arrives.
The busiest days
Sunday, August 31. That's the day before Boston's September 1 moving day, and 110 visitors opened 150 profiles, more than any other day this month.
What's next
We're adding contractors every day. The engine behind Tavlee is still working town by town across Greater Boston, the North and South Shores, the Cape, MetroWest and Worcester. Over the next couple of weeks, we'll launch support for Western MA and start covering New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and more.
