1-800-GOT-JUNK? Connecticut S.W.

Booked w/them yesterday for the removal of a three-cushion couch and a flat table top. Their AI phone operator had us make our appointment time for 9/8 at 4:30 pm. We rec'd a callback the same day explaining that we'd need to move the appointment to 9/9 at 9:00 am. We did so. We rec'd ~3 calls this morning from different numbers, each of which confirmed the same information as the others. Though they explained that there was a 2-hour window from 9:00 am onward that they might arrive during, they showed at 12:00 pm with no call or explanation. We thought they’d no-showed. They then initially quoted us an outrageous amount before my husband negotiated them to a price that was way more reasonable/aligned with previous quotes we've received from junk removal businesses. Not thrilled w/the customer service of a business that otherwise boasts a very high Google rating.

This company is horrible. I had an appointment from 1:30-3:30. I called the 1800 number several times. Finally, I get a call from a gentleman who said “I’m sorry we aren’t going to make it. We tried calling you earlier. I asked what time did you try to call (I waited by my phone all day) I answered when he called to tell me he wasn’t coming. He said I called at around 11AM. This is impossible because I didn’t book the appointment until after 12PM. I followed up with the 1800 number and spoke to a lady to tell her how disappointed I was with first time using the service. She put me on hold and said, ok they will definitely be there within 1hr 30mins-2HRS. I said thank you very much. Guess what?! They still didn’t show up so I called back and they said the crew was stuck at another job! This company is a mess! Do not use them! They’re making appointments they can’t keep. I now have a pile of trash in my driveway. Will be calling a local company tomorrow. I hope to get better service!

Called them to remove yard waste and construction materials. They showed up an hour later than the 3 hour arrival window then took an amazingly low volume of materials because the "weight was over 2ft in height." What a joke. Why did I call, I'm still questioning.

I have used hauling/removal services in multiple locations across multiple states, and I have never encountered better. Truly outstanding and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
