A to Z Express Moving & Storage has been moving households and businesses between Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire since 1996, according to the company; it's family-owned and run out of Salem, NH, with a federal carrier registration on file since 2001 that also covers broker authority for arranging some interstate hauls alongside its own trucks. The name that comes up over and over is Paul, the owner, who reviewers describe personally walking through quotes and staying reachable when schedules change. Around him, a rotating cast of named crew members — Louis, Juan, Billy, Carlos, Andrew and others — get called out individually for careful, efficient work, handling everything from a same-day furniture move to a full household relocation out of state. Google shows 4.7 stars across 177 ratings, and that pattern holds across a couple hundred more reviews going back to 2021. The complaint that shows up more than once, including twice in the past six months, is about price. In May 2026 one returning customer says they were quoted $740 but charged $1,090 despite an expected loyalty discount. In April 2026, another describes being hit with an unplanned $600 surcharge mid-move for an interstate transfer — and, more seriously, says a box containing cremated remains was lost in the process. Older reviews echo the same pricing-surprise theme, plus isolated reports of unresolved wall damage and a complaint about movers blocking handicap parking. None of that erases the volume of specific, staff-named praise this company has built up over years of moves — but it's worth locking down the total cost and any surcharge conditions in writing before the truck shows up, especially for anything crossing state lines. Ask directly about how irreplaceable items get tracked, and confirm in advance if the job might need broker-arranged, rather than in-house, transport. For an in-state or regional move where the crew's reputation for care matters most, this is a long-running, well-reviewed option — just don't assume the quoted price is the final one.

I had a wonderful experience with this moving company. The movers were hardworking, efficient, and very careful when carrying heavy furniture. All of my belongings arrived safely and in perfect condition. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable moving service.

Edit to my original review: Used this company for the second time today 5/18/26 and was quoted $740, I was suppose to be given a deal as a returning customer and also for my original review. However I ended up being charged $1,090 and also tipped the 3 movers $50 each. Don’t give me a price and then not follow through. Will not be using this company again.
