Across its Google listings, Paradise Moving & Storage holds more than 550 ratings, and the average sits at a flat 5.0 — a number that is hard to sustain at that volume. The company works out of Ashland, running local moves around Greater Boston and MetroWest along with interstate jobs, and its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade with accreditation. The reviews read like a roster. Daniel, Eugene, David and Vitalii come up by name again and again, usually with the same three notes: showed up on time, wrapped everything, worked fast. In June a four-man crew put in over five hours with a few short water breaks and left the walls untouched at both ends of the move. In May another crew carried a grand piano to a second floor, and a March interstate job landed antique furniture, wine glasses and an 84-inch TV without a scratch. The range is wider than a box truck and a couch. Recent customers describe crews disassembling bed frames and furniture and reassembling them at the destination, a Medway-to-Holliston move that ended at the company's own storage unit, multi-stop moves, and runs between Connecticut and Massachusetts. Repeat business is the other pattern — several reviewers are on their second or third move with the company, and more than one arrived by word of mouth from colleagues, parents or friends. On price, the reviews are candid. One repeat customer puts it plainly: not the cheapest, worth it. Another thought the quote ran a little high until a crew of three made short work of the job, and a May reviewer's final price matched the estimate to the dollar. There is also a three-hour minimum charge — a July customer whose move took two hours still called it money well spent, but it is worth knowing on a small job. For a local, interstate or storage move where careful handling matters more than the lowest bid, the history here is deep and consistent — 530 reviews across seven sources since 2021, with the last six months spotless. Confirm the three-hour minimum, get the estimate in writing, and book ahead of the end-of-month crunch.

Excellent experience! My movers Vitalii and David were wonderful. They arrived on time, moved quickly, handled everything with care, and were very friendly. Will definitely be using Paradise again in the future. Best deal in the Boston area.

Daniel, Stan, and Tommy were amazing! The last time I moved a couple years ago, I had a terrible experience with the movers I hired from another company, and was so grateful I hired Paradise Moving & Storage for my move this time. I wasn’t finished packing the morning of my move and they were great about helping me finish up. I was super nervous about getting a large couch out, and they did it with ease. Not to mention, it was 100 degrees on the day of my move and somehow were still able to move everything at a reasonable pace. Other companies were quoting a ridiculous amount for my move, and Paradise was very fair with their pricing. 10/10 would recommend!!

Fantastic moving service recommended to me by a bunch of colleagues at work. Moved me between two apartments in 2h (I packed myself, apartments were ~10 min apart by driving). There is a 3h minimum charge, but in my opinion it was worth every penny given how efficient they were. Marcos and David were super professional, nice, and took a lot of care moving my furniture (esp. bed) and wall art. Highly recommend!

- behind the score: Initial quotes — one recent reviewer called the estimate a little high
What does a move cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Paradise Moving & Storage. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
