Absolute Packers LLC describes itself on its BBB profile as a provider of local and long-distance residential and commercial packing, moving, piano moving and storage services. The BBB grades it A+ and lists it as accredited. In a 2025 post on the r/yale subreddit, a commenter called it a great moving company and shared the experience as a guide to finding movers who were reliable and honest. Between 2021 and 2024, seven Reddit comments recommended the Stratford company; a 2022 poster said it did an insanely difficult move with a huge piece of furniture up 3 tight flights of stairs. Two posters were critical: in 2024 one said the movers showed up late and put several golf ball sized holes in the walls, and in 2026 another called the company a hard avoid, citing lateness, extra fees and a totally unprofessional coordinator.
“Also Absolute Packers are a HARD avoid. Super late, charged me extra fees, totally unprofessional coordinator”

“I thought I would share my experience with finding a great moving company (absolute packers) since it was really difficult to figure out which moving companies were reliable and honest when looking for an answer online.”
“I used absolute packers and they showed up late, put several holes (golf ball sized) in my walls moving things, used the wrong screws reassembling furniture to the point where they left it cracked and half assembled, then refused to leave unless I paid more because it took longer than expected, despite the fact they originally sold it as fixed rate.”
“Absolute Packers in Stratford. Awesome people.”
