Acorn-Bernier Electric is an electrical contractor that describes itself on its website as a Clinton based company servicing Clinton and surrounding towns for over 25 years. In a 2022 review, a customer said Chuck arrived in less than half an hour on a cold Saturday morning after an elderly mother's furnace kept tripping the breaker, worked through the heating system components, and traced the problem to a shorted circulation pump. A 2023 customer said they installed a sub panel in a workshop at a fair price. A 2023 customer said the company handled smaller jobs inside and outside the house and installed a new Generac. A 2021 customer said they diagnosed and repaired a problem with a set of relays at an in-ground pool. A Hartford business news site has reported that a Newington company acquired the generator services division of Acorn Bernier Electric in Clinton.
“The deal comes a month after the Newington company acquired the generator services division of Acorn Bernier Electric in Clinton, which also was a Generac dealer.”

Very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I'm always extremely happy with the service. From smaller jobs inside and outside of the house to installing my new Generac. I highly recommend Acorn Bernier Electric.
They installed a sub panel in my workshop. Did an excellent job at a fair price. Would highly recommend!
Chuck Bernier is a true professional, and we could not be more pleased with his work.
Excellent! They arrived on time, were efficient and pleasant as they got things done. I have always had a good experience with Acorn, and wouldn't call anyone else.
I would highly recommend Acorn-Bernier Electric. On a cold Saturday morning I placed a call for emergency service when my 94 year-old mother informed me her furnace was tripping the breaker and would not run. I called Acorn-Bernier Electric and spoke with Chuck on the phone. After I explained the situation, without hesitation, Chuck said he would be right over. He arrived in less than half-an-hour and methodically went through all the heating system components to narrow down the cause of the problem, which turned out to be a shorted circulation pump. Chuck is very competent, very pleasant, and well-equipped to quickly resolve electrical issues. Thanks to the quick response from Acorn-Bernier Electric, my mom's house is warm and the furnace is running smoothly!
