Advanced Beacon is a Watertown electrical contractor, and its Angi profile puts 34 years in the trade behind the name. The job that tells you the most is a South End brownstone. In an August 2025 review, a customer wrote that Tony's team — Sabino and Akhil — reworked the old wiring there, using what was already in the walls and skipping new runs where they weren't needed, which held the disruption to the rooms involved and avoided a big mess. A July 2025 reviewer described electrical work done safely and neatly, by a crew that was easy to deal with from start to finish. Google's page stands at 5 stars from five ratings. If your house is an old one, that approach is the thing to press on: ask how they intend to route any new circuits and which walls that opens up before anyone starts. Free estimates are listed on the Angi profile, so the first look should cost nothing. Get the scope and the price in writing, look the electrician's licence up on the state register, and ask what warranty comes with the work.

Tony's team of Sabino and Akhil made some modifications on our old South End brownstone wiring. Very efficient in utilizing existing wiring and avoiding new runs where not necessary. Worked to minimize disruptions to the rooms involved and avoided a big mess (from the old horsehair plaster). All in all, much appreciated. And cost effective. Thanks!
