The complaints about All State Waste are rarely about the trash. They are about what comes after: a bill that looks wrong, a broken gate, a phone nobody picks up. That pattern runs through nearly every one-star review of this Bridgewater hauler, which the BBB records as in business since September 1998 with 45 employees, running roll-off containers, front-load commercial routes, residential and municipal collection, compactors and bulk pickups. It is a woman-owned company by its own account, and that part holds up against the state. The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office lists its Women Business Enterprise certification as active through January 2027, along with an active Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification under the same number. A 2023 Massachusetts legislature record lists the company as a WBE dumpster subcontractor on public work. The praise mostly comes from businesses. In February 2026 a customer called the pricing reasonable and singled out the phone staff for roll-off service. Two weeks earlier, a Hanover delivery company that had been a customer for years named the driver, Thiago, who went out of his way on a pickup. In July 2025, a Holbrook fuel business overflowing during a Republic Services strike said All State came by early and cleared it, and a 2024 reviewer summed up the appeal in one line: dumpsters turned around fast. The one-star reviews are specific, and they repeat. In November 2025 a customer said drivers had broken their dumpster corral five times because they would not get out of the truck to open the gates, and that the owner's husband, who handles repairs, was impossible to reach. In January 2026 a caller said it took roughly six calls across two days to reach a manager, then described that conversation as disrespectful, with nobody able to say when he worked. A September 2025 reviewer reported a residential dumpster emptied at 4:11 in the morning. Billing comes up twice more: a 2024 reviewer alleged false billing and forged signatures, and a 2022 reviewer said they were charged for the service of a same-named father and never got a call back. In a 2019 HomeAdvisor review, a management company described repeatedly missed pickups that were billed anyway. The scorecards land all over the place. BBB grades the company A+ with no complaints on its file; Google sits at 3.7 across 15 ratings; HomeAdvisor shows 3.0 from two reviews and flags the profile as "under review." For a one-off construction roll-off or a container swap where speed is the whole job, the recent accounts are good and the price gets called reasonable. If you are signing a recurring contract — a condo association, a property manager, a residential route — put the pickup window, the earliest permitted service time, responsibility for damaged gates and enclosures, and every fee in writing first, and ask exactly who you call when something goes wrong.
