A 2024 article on islandinstitute.org said Allegrone Masonry, which specializes in historic restoration, is the general and masonry contractor for the Statue of Liberty rehabilitation project. A 2014 page on ctmale.com said C.T. Male Associates was working with Allegrone Masonry of Pittsfield, Massachusetts on a project for the New York State Office of General Services. A 2015 article on constructionspecifier.com said a sub-contract to supply stone was signed in November of 2010 with the masonry contractor, Allegrone Masonry. A 2009 article on berkshireeagle.com quoted Joe Lewis, the president of Allegrone Masonry in Dalton, about a facade portion the company restored: "There were over 2,000 pieces of terra cotta." A 2020 Google reviewer wrote that they emailed twice looking for an estimate for chimney work and left one telephone message, with no response. A 2021 Google reviewer wrote "No call back." A 2024 Google reviewer wrote that one of its trucks was on the NY Thruway at 90+ MPH, tailgating.
