In a 2026 review, a customer said Hector and his crew have done fall and spring cleanup, mowed the lawn, fertilized, aerated and overseeded, spread mulch and edged the gardens. A condo association customer wrote in 2026 that they come weekly, always on the same day or the next day if it is raining, and twice came out the next day to remove bushes, once for fire department requirements and once so an owner could replace his AC unit; Andy removed only the necessary shrubs without damaging the surrounding area. Another 2026 review says Andy and another team member trimmed the bushes, weeded, mulched, edged, mowed and took away fallen branches, and that Andy called the customers out to make sure they were happy. In a 2025 review, a customer with a very large yard said Hector came out the same day to see the job and was there the next morning with six people in all for a fall cleanup. In a 2024 review, a customer said Hector and company leveled an unpaved parking area and put down a 6" gravel bed. In a 2023 review, a customer said Gabriel and his team spent several days removing 3 large Leyland Cyprus trees and a large pyracantha, and rebuilt a stone flower bed around a red maple. A 2026 one-star review describes lots of damage: a hose on a paved walkway run over and cut, dirt and leaves blown onto a pool cover during a spring cleanup, and 4 inches of mud and mulch in the bottom of the swimming pool that took four days of cleaning and damaged the pool filter; that customer said Alvarez would not reimburse the cost. A 2024 one-star review said they did not show up to plow the driveway in a storm and did not call back.
