On its BBB page, Anchor Paving & Seal Coating describes its work as driveway and parking lot paving, patching, striping, asphalt and seal coating, for new installations or repairs. A 2026 customer whose driveway had major root damage said Steve and his team excavated the roots and re-did the driveway, and that Steve was fair with his quote and willing to help them stay in their budget. On Google the company holds 4.1 stars from 16 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. A recent customer said they were there when they said they would be and called the prices reasonable. A recent customer called the work fast, reliable and affordable. A recent customer who said a different company was hired, and that Anchor Seal Coating actually performed the work, wrote that the driveway was not properly cleaned or prepared before the sealcoat went on and that the result was extremely uneven. That customer said the owner acknowledged the driveway "did not look good" and said he was not present when the work was completed, but that nobody ever showed up after repeated promises and calls and texts went unanswered. A 2026 customer said they were not pleased with the job done by Nick and his team and that they paid a lot of money for the service.
These gentlemen are top notch Also extremely reasonable with prices They were there when they said they would Would recommend them to everyone
I am posting this review because Anchor Seal Coating was the company that actually performed the work on my driveway. I hired a different company that I have now learned goes by a few different names. Route 1 Roofing, SVM Roofing, and Onyx Sealcoating. Beware of all of them! These are extremely shady people. (Sonny Miller & Jason Miller) Before the job, communication was excellent. They were attentive, responsive, and eager to secure the work. Unfortunately, everything changed once the driveway was sealcoated and payment was made. The finished driveway looked terrible. It was not properly cleaned or prepared before the sealcoat was applied, and the final result is extremely uneven, with areas that appear as though different products or applications were used. The workmanship was far below what was promised or what I expected. When I immediately raised my concerns, I was told everything would “blend together” and look much better after about a week. Unfortunately, that never happened. I documented the entire job with photos and sent them to the owner. To his credit, he acknowledged that the driveway “did not look good” and said this was not the quality of work his company normally performs. He also told me he was not present when the work was completed. Based on that conversation, I expected the situation would be made right. Instead, I spent weeks being ignored and repeatedly told someone would be out “in the next couple of days.” Nobody ever showed up, called, or followed through. After each promise, communication would stop again. My calls and text messages eventually went unanswered. Now all of them are just ignoring my messages. I later had two independent sealcoating companies inspect the driveway. Both told me the workmanship was extremely poor and that, in their opinion, I should be seeking a full refund. The most frustrating part has been how the situation was handled. Mistakes can happen, but reputable contractors stand behind their work, communicate honestly, and follow through on their commitments. That was not my experience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Anchor Seal Coating and would encourage anyone considering hiring them to do their research before making a decision. Also beware of there buddies and all the different company names they use.
Fast, reliable, communicative, quality work, and affordable.
My Driveway had major root damage. Steve and his team at Anchor seal coating did a great job helping us fix this. They escavated the roots and re-did our driveway. Steve was fair with his quote and was very willing to work with us and help us stay in our budget. Moreover Steve's team was extremely intricate with their work. Looking forward to worki with them to get our driveway sealcoated.
Not pleased at all with the job done by Nick and his team. Super unprofessional as well. The worst part about it is that I paid a lot of money for the service.
