Apex Green Roofs is a Newbury, Massachusetts design-build contractor focused on vegetated roofs, rooftop gardens and amenity decks. The company says it was established in 2008 by Charlie Sinkler, has more than 15 years of green-roof expertise, and has built over 100 green roofs; BBB describes 20 years in business and Procore lists 27 projects. Its work spans residential, commercial and public buildings, including green-roof installations and ongoing maintenance. Public project references describe drought-tolerant sedum systems, planted rooftops and a 7,000-square-foot MIT roof; older examples include Harvard, Simmons College and other institutional projects. Apex is a specialized fit for owners planning a vegetated roof or rooftop garden rather than routine lawn landscaping. Before calling, confirm the roof’s structural capacity, pitch and waterproofing compatibility—the company’s FAQ says those inputs determine the appropriate system and installation cost—and ask which maintenance scope applies to the current project.
