APH, short for Arakelian Plumbing and Heating LLC, describes itself as specializing in residential and commercial plumbing, heating, HVAC, gas fitting and mechanical services across the greater New Hampshire seacoast and surrounding communities. The company says it has been in business 15 years. A recent customer said the company resolved issues with an oven's exhaust system, solved a complex heating issue and did plumbing for an irrigation system. A 2026 customer whose furnace blower motor was not working said a larger company had told them they needed a whole new system. That 2026 customer said Richard, the tech, walked them through the fix and took video showing the cracked heat exchange the larger company named was not an issue at all. A 2026 reviewer wrote that Nate fixed a Rinnai gas heater another company had been unable to repair, working directly with Rinnai to diagnose it. A 2025 customer said Andy suggested a new expansion tank, showed why, took care of it, and installed a Nest thermostat the customer had bought. A 2025 reviewer who replaced an aging hot water heater with APH said they left the area cleaner than they found it. A 2025 customer described a propane boiler replacement by Brian and his team. A 2025 customer said they came within an hour and fixed a toilet valve leak. In a 2023 review, a customer renting a townhouse said Nate found a central AC unit was obsolete and could not be fixed, then came back to install the new unit. A 2024 customer calling about a gas service disconnected at a 30-unit building said the tech who answered cut them off and told them to "listen to the prompt"; in a later edit, that customer said the company was cordial and understanding when they called to discuss it. A 2022 reviewer said three attempts to contact the company got no response. A 2023 customer called the service a little pricey for the work and time it took. A 2026 reviewer objected to an APH van's driving up 125 into Epping.
Always very responsive with fast and exceptional service!
Always fast and friendly. I would recommend to anyone. The owners are friendly and great people!
We have worked with Todd, Marvin, Rob, Andy, Dave, and Jose! Everyone has been extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. We truly appreciate their quick (and reliable!!) ability to problem-solve any issues that have come up in the home. We have had them resolve issues with our oven’s exhaust system, solved a complex heating issue, and plumbing for an irrigation system. APH have become our “go to” guys. Thank you so much!
Extremely terrible driving, absolutely riding behind me up 125 into epping. I was going 15 over pulling a trailer with 2 snowmobiles. Then proceeded to start cutting off other drivers, no directionals. Horrible representation of the company, Van should be taken away.
We had a no heat issue with furnace, blower motor not working properly. At first we had a larger company come out and they immediately stated we needed a whole new system. We decided to get a local, second opinion - we see the APH vans all throughout Hampton. Rob returned my first message within 30 minutes, and worked closely with us to get our issue fixed asap. Richard, the tech was super friendly and walked us through the fix, and also pointed out that the issue the larger company said we had (cracked heat exchange) was not an issue at all - took video and walked us through it. Finally, APH was very reasonably priced.. They have won a new regular customer from us.
