Assured Solar Energy had not done the original installation, but that customer said the company fixed the problem anyway and came up with cost-effective solutions to get the system running again. The same customer said finding compatible panels took some searching, that the company also installed a battery back-up, and that the switch was seamless enough that it was a couple of hours before they realized the power had gone out during an outage. That customer called the crew considerate and knowledgeable. The company says on its website that it has 20 years in business, and its site promotes the 30% commercial solar tax credit. On new systems, a customer who had gotten quotes from three companies said Assured Solar walked them through options including lease-to-own and financing, and that the installation was quick and professional. One customer wrote that the work was completed sooner than originally estimated and that Assured Solar took care of all of the interfacing with Central Maine Power. A customer said the system was online ahead of schedule, and that they followed up with a couple of questions after the installation and praised the post-installation service. On Google the company shows 4.8 stars from 50 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. In a December 2024 r/Maine Reddit thread, a poster told others to call Assured Solar Energy.

While Assured didn't do the initial installation, they fixed the problem anyway and came up with creative, cost-effective solutions to get my system up and running again. As it turns out solar panels can't be mixed and matched, they have to be compatible. It took some searching to come up with a viable solution. But they stuck with it. My system is now fixed and generating power like it should. No more $250 CMP bills. I now have a squirrel guard! They also installed a battery back-up. When we lost power a couple of weeks ago, it was a couple of hours before I realized that the power had gone out. The switch is that seamless. The crew is considerate and knowledgeable. They are an easy group to have working in your house. I highly recommend Assured Solar Energy

You want solar? This is the place you should choose. They completed work sooner than originally estimated, and made the entire process a breeze. Assured Solar took care of all of the interfacing with Central Maine Power. We now generate more energy than we use, and power bills from CMP have gone from over $250 a month to almost nothing (CMP still gets a grid connection fee). When you multiply this over the lifespan of the solar panels, you make back your investment in 1/3 of the time. When you consider the CMP price hikes looming ahead, this makes solar an even better deal by the day.
Working with Assured Solar has been a WONDERFUL experience. Then had the system online ahead of schedule. Everyone on the install team was great and extremely professional. I've followed up with a couple of questions since then, and their post-installation service has been outstanding as well. I would absolutely recommend giving them a call.
