A recent Angi customer noticed several roof shingles that looked like they were coming loose. Justin from Atlantic Roofing & Siding worked that customer into his schedule, re-nailed the shingles, then inspected the rest of the roof and around the chimney, taking pictures with his phone of areas where chimney mortar was missing, buckling shingles and a damaged rubber gasket. Its BBB profile describes a full service general contractor operating out of Saco, Maine, offering roofing, siding, deck construction, gutter installation, snow removal and masonry work. On Angi, the company says it has over 20 years of home improvement contracting experience. It carries an A+ BBB grade and 5.0 stars from 12 ratings on Angi. A 2026 customer hired the company for shingles on a two-level, four-car garage and said the job was done as requested. A 2025 customer with an older home and an original slate roof said Justin's team repaired the chimney and some broken, shifting slate pieces in a reasonable and timely manner. A 2019 customer said Justin arrived exactly at the time he said, assessed the issue, quoted a price that customer called reasonable and fair, and completed the work that morning. A 2019 customer said Justin offered to come that day instead of the next week, gave an estimate and repaired the area of the roof that needed it in a very short time. A 2019 customer said Justin came up with a solution for a problem area of the roof. A 2019 customer said Justin called ahead when delayed by traffic and "tells you the bad news, which is good."
I recently noticed that several roof shingles looked like they were coming loose. I had heard about Angi's list. I filled out my info and what kind of help I needed. They had given me four roofing companies in my area. I checked out their previous Reviews which was very helpful. Then I made a couple of calls. Justin from Atlantic roofing & siding called me. He had another local service call first and he could come by after that if this was OK with me. YES! I was very pleased that he could work me into his schedule. I met Justin outside. Justin was very courteous. He handed me his business card. I had sent him photos of the damaged area. He worked very efficiently, to re-nail the shingles. Then Justin inspected the rest of the roof & around the chimney. He took pictures with his phone & showed me areas were the mortar from chimney bricks was missing, other areas buckling shingles & damaged rubber gasket. Justin impressed me & I highly recommend Justin & Atlantic Roofing & Siding
Hired Atlantic Roofing for 2 level 4 car garage shingles(dropdown doesnβt allow this choice). Customer Service was great. Job done as requested. Great experience start to finish! Highly recommend them as your first call.
I own an older home with an original slate roof. Finding a contractor that I felt safe and comfortable with was hard to find, until I found Justin and crew. His team did a wonderful job repairing the chimney and some broken, shifting slate pieces on the roof in a reasonable and timely manner. They were always happy to answer my questions too. Would highly recommend!
Justin called me to let me know he was delayed by traffic, so I was able to be at the appointment when he arrived. He is very professional, and tells you the bad news, which is good. He will be coming back to work on our chimney.
