Another 2026 customer inquired online and received a reply the same day; Steve came out to look over the house, decks, shed, fence and exterior windows, the quote came back itemized and easy to read, and they came out a week later. A third 2026 customer described a yellow stain on the bricks of the Hanover Veterans Memorial days before Memorial Day: Brian and the Bay State Softwash crew came after a scheduled job and used a truck that can make hot water to dissolve the stain, then gently cleaned it. In 2025, a customer who spoke with the owner, Brian, about a soft wash for weathered shingles wrote that they were at the house within 3 days of reaching out, the crew was done within an hour, and they also washed down the decks. Another 2025 customer had the house washed and the moss on the back roof killed, and a repeat customer that year had Brian and Steve wash and sand two patios and a walkway. A 2025 review put the net cost at about $0.34 per square foot and said some situations could have benefited from protective equipment. In 2024, a customer who needed an entire asphalt driveway cleaned of hydraulic fluid and oil staining wrote that they were on site within 2 hours of contact to provide an estimate and went to work the next day. Another 2024 customer wrote that on the first appointment they stopped washing when the wind picked up, then came back a few days later to finish the job. In a 2023 review, a customer who had hired them to clean a cedar shake roof as well as the house wrote that, upon seeing the roof on a dry day, they decided it was in too poor shape to warrant a cleaning and did not want the customer to waste the money.
