Belcher Electric LLC holds 2.4 stars from 9 ratings on Google and 4.5 stars from 20 ratings on HomeAdvisor. On HomeAdvisor the company describes itself as having over 20 years of experience. Panel work is what people hired it for. A 2020 customer who needed an upgrade to 200 amps said Scott called within 5 minutes and the job was finished in 3 1/2 hours. A 2020 customer said Scott came over soon after returning the call, even while busy after a rain and wind storm. A 2025 Google customer said they were overcharged while a panel was replaced. A 2023 Google customer said no permit was pulled and the breakers or switches were never finished. A 2022 customer who got an upgraded panel and paid cash said a promised receipt was not sent. A 2020 customer said a panel job on a spare garage was put on hold because he was too busy with other jobs. A 2020 customer said he stopped returning messages and the job never got done.
Typical your area range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Belcher Electric LLC. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

criminally overcharged me. while replacing panel (which ended up being 90% empty because he bought the biggest one he could find) he kept repeating (out loud) "I am the best". true story. avoid this guy at all costs - literally.
Run... horrible horrible did not pull permit. States that he has knowledge of Plumbing.Wrong. Do not hire.. you will be dissatisfied trust me!!! Never came back to finish installing Breakers or switches. Has his unlicensed labor is doing work for him
I got an upgraded panel. I paid cash under the terms that I am provided a receipt. They have lied for a week about sending it. The worse business practice is when a company does not care about a customer. I was ready to give 5 stars but their lack of customer service subtracted 2.5 stars. Plus their lack of response to a small issues as a receipt says Belcher Electric does not care about the customers. Now the internet wants to know, what was so hard about a receipt? I will never recommend Belcher Electric because you will never get a receipt.
Great service. Fixed several problems quickly.
We completely lost power in our home just as it was getting dark on Monday night. I went to Angi and put in a request for an electrician. It asked if I needed to have a call right away and after saying yes I was contacted by Scott from Belcher Electric. I explained our situation and he asked where we lived. I told him and he said he was not far away and was picking up his dinner. He told me he could be here in about a half hour. He came right over and let me know the main on our electrical panel had failed. He told us he could get a crew right over and replace it for us as he did not want elderly people to be without electricity. We had previously had work done in August and were told we would eventually need to have our panel replaced. We were given a quote at that time but we were not in a position to cover that high of an expense. The quote Scott had given us was much lower and more in our price range, especially when he was going to come back with a crew and replace it immediately. He told us it would take about 2 or 3 hours to complete. He returned with his crew and everything he needed to do the job. In 2 hours we had power! He replaced the old 150 panel with a 200 panel and he and his men checked all the lights and the water pressure to make sure everything was good. He checked the line outside and because we still had a little flickering of the lights he suggested we contact National Grid in the morning and have them check the line at the pole as that may have been the reason for the failure. In the morning I did contact National Grid and they sent Someone out. He found there was a problem and he was able to replace a line. Thanks to Scott and the two men who came out and replaced the panel in the dark, we were Also able to have a problem with our outside line repaired. I am so thankful to him and National Grid for helping to keep us safe from an electrical issue that could have been so much worse. Also thank you for being so reasonable with your pricing.
