Shane is perhaps the best broker in Boston and his senior businesss partner Craig is absolutely top notch as a rental manager. When I came back from LA in 2008 I interviewed over twenty realtors before locking in with Shane and I have done all my residential and investment business with him. His ethics are beyond reproach and he is the only realtor I know who is willing to lose a deal as a result of protecting his clients from bad operrators(and their shady dealings) --and there are MANY in these markets. Regarding his competance he is second to none and having an experienced becomes incredibly important when problems emerge as they so often do. Serious problems and badly tainted deals can be life-ruining and many inexperienced brokers are not capable of handling tricky problems. In terms of renovation, repair and construction the advantages of Shane shine bightly. It's incredibly hard to find great contractors and it's crazy how badly a single contractor can jack you up. Being connected with Shane is a great advantage in this regard and he has terrific relations with the best and most honest contractors in this area. I tell my friends they are crazy if they do not work with Shane and I also beg them to follow his advice at all times cause his advice is generall spot on.
