Bill Morgan Real Estate Academy does not sell houses — it teaches the people who do. Massachusetts lists it as approved real estate school 1224, and that registration is active. The school runs out of Nahant under John Proudian, who says on its site that he is a Massachusetts Approved Real Estate Instructor and a Certified Distance Education Instructor, and that he is licensed to practise brokerage in Louisiana, Maine and Massachusetts. By the company's own account, Bill Morgan turned two decades of brokerage into a school in the early 2000s and retired in 2019; Proudian joined shortly after it opened. The course list covers the salesperson and broker pre-licensing requirements plus continuing education for Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island licensees. Very little has been written about it publicly. Google carries a 4.7 average from three ratings, and the single written account, posted in October 2022, came from a student who took both the salesperson and the broker course and credited the teaching with getting them there: "He was knowledgeable and engaging, which you need for these long hours." If you are a homeowner looking for an agent, this is not one — it is where agents go to get licensed. If you are the one getting licensed, ask which sessions are running and in what format.
