Blackrock Farm describes itself on its Houzz profile as a diversified farm of more than thirty years that has grown into a nursery, a landscaping company and an organic vegetable producer. Its own site says the nursery carries sun and shade perennials, dwarf and unusual conifers, trees, shrubs, grasses, alpines and vines, and its Houzz service list names scale landscape drawings, on-location consultation, irrigation and lighting, four-season garden maintenance and container planting. A recent customer calls it a place to get items for landscaping and ideas. A 2025 customer mentioned friendly staff and reasonable prices. In a 2024 review, a customer said the farm hosted their rehearsal dinner the day before their wedding.

I had the pleasure of taking an impromptu tour of Blackrock Farm when a colleague and I were visiting Southern Maine recently. What a gorgeous and unique farm! This family-owned farm is run with love and intention, and I can imagine just stopping in to smell the earth and tour the gorgeous greenhouses if I lived just a smidge closer. I hope very much that more events like weddings and rehearsal dinners can take place here in the future, because I know they'll be done with such careful thought. So grateful we could walk the grounds!

Had our rehearsal dinner here this past August the day prior to our wedding, and we couldn’t have been more pleased!! Their staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and their relationship with the Nonantum made our rehearsal dinner and weekend flow so smoothly! Answered all our questions in advance as well, and the food was to die for!! Highly recommend for all your event needs whether that be for a rehearsal dinner or otherwise!
