In a 2023 Google review, a customer wrote that Blue Tape Downsizing took on their parents' move out of a large farmhouse they had lived in for 25 years and into a senior living facility. That 2023 customer said Oopey met with the parents and, together, they formulated a plan covering the house, two barns and a home office. The 2023 reviewer wrote that Oopey dealt with everything from the estate sale to the two full-size construction dumpsters that were eventually needed, and that he was sensitive to the customer's elderly father's reluctance to part with his stuff while keeping the process moving. In that 2023 account, Oopey also helped the parents get their new place organized and their art hung.
When it came time for my parents to move out of the large farmhouse that they had been living in for 25 years and downsize into a senior living facility, the task seemed too daunting to imagine. Not just the physical moving, but the organizing, the sorting, the deciding what to take and what to get rid of and how to get rid of it. Especially living in another state, I had no idea how to help or where to start. Thank goodness we found Blue Tape Downsizing. Oopey came in and met with my parents, together they formulated a plan to attack not only the house, but the two barns and the home office and get everything ready to move. It was a full service experience that I can not recommend highly enough, Oopey dealt with everything from the estate sale to the two full size construction dumpsters that were eventually needed. He was sensitive to my elderly father's reluctance to part with his stuff, but also kept the whole process moving along efficiently. At the end, we couldn't have been more satisfied with the results. Oopey even helped them get their new place organized and their art hung. He turned what I was sure would be an ordeal that would end in someone murdering someone, into a relatively smooth and easy process. If you have elderly parents who need to downsize, or are a senior looking to downsize, I couldn't think of anyone better than Blue Tape.
