A recent Google customer looking for a doublewide for a lot in Union, Maine went back to Boggs Homes because they had bought from them 30 years ago, and said Lanny and his two boys delivered and set the home. The company says it was established in 1969 and is a three-generation, family-owned business selling manufactured single wide, double wide and modular homes and duplexes from New Era Building Systems and Cavco. A recent first-time buyer said everyone from the office staff to the drivers to the installers treated them with respect. A 2025 customer said the company purchased the lot they had chosen, prepared the land and managed the installation of their prefabricated home. A 2025 buyer said their house arrived almost exactly 10 weeks after they ordered it. A 2023 customer said Boggs offered an end loan so they could stay in their previous home until closing, and that two men from Pennsylvania spent five hours fixing factory cosmetic issues. A 2022 customer said Lanny came out the following Saturday to look at a proposed site and road. A 2022 customer who bought a lot model said not everything was fixed when a repair person came out. A 2022 reviewer called the prices very high.

My fiancé and I just bought our first home from Boggs homes. Buying a first home was very stressful and scary but Boggs made the whole process easier with their hospitality and informative team. EVERYONE from the office staff to the drivers to the installers treated us with respect, were incredibly nice and had an answer to every question both complex and silly. We can’t recommend Boggs enough, we would recommend them to anyone.
We have had the privilege of working with Boggs on multiple projects. A great company producing a great product.

My wife and I were looking for a new Doublewide home to put on our upper lot in Union Maine. We had looked at a lot of models at a couple different places. We kept going back to Boggs Homes since we had bought from them 30 years ago. Boggs has been very good to work with through out the whole process. Jill and Lanny and thier boys (and crews) have been first class. The set up and finish work has been first class all the way. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for your home needs. They Know What They are Doing!! Jill was great to work with as we were going through all the details. Lanny and his two boys were amazing getting in and delivering as well as setting it. So if you need a new home go see Boggs homes in Warren Maine!!!
This is a long overdue Review, I actually thought I did this.... almost a year ago today but must not have clicked Post. I am Dustin D. since it wont allow me to change the name of poster, bought my home from Boggs and it has been great. The whole staff is awesome and worked with me through the whole process. Do need to reach out to them soon.
