Boston Premier Properties is a rental shop first. Its Google page sits at 4.5 stars from 52 ratings, and the reviews that pile up are overwhelmingly from renters — people who landed an apartment somewhere between Boston and the South Shore and wanted to name the agent who got them in. The company describes itself as a Quincy brokerage that lists rentals and sales and manages residential property for owners, with a self-reported coverage area running from Boston and South Boston through Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Hull, Rockland, Pembroke, Duxbury, and Plymouth. Its BBB profile lists a corporation started in 2008 and incorporated in 2007, three employees, and Philip Ragusa as president. The BBB grade is A+, though the company is not BBB accredited. The review history runs 2021 through 2025 across four sources, which is a real track record rather than a handful of opinions. The pattern in the positive reviews is steady and narrow: renters crediting individual agents for quick responses and for walking first-time tenants through the search and the lease. That is what this office is hired for, and it is where nearly all the praise lands. The dissenting reviews deserve a look before you call. One reviewer alleged the company is discriminatory in who it shows and rents to, and advised people of color to look elsewhere. That is a single unverified account from a customer, and the BBB profile lists no complaints or government actions against the business — but it is a serious enough allegation that a renter should raise fair-housing questions directly and judge the answer. Two other reviewers described a different friction: calls and emails that never got a reply, and one inquiry about restaurant space that the caller felt was not taken seriously. Against three dozen mostly positive reviews that reads as inconsistency on the intake side rather than a pattern in the work itself, but it is worth knowing that getting a first callback is where the complaints cluster. The right fit here is a renter or a small residential landlord working Quincy and the South Shore towns the company names. If you are chasing commercial or restaurant space, expect thinner traction. Before you commit, confirm which agent will actually own your search, get the fee structure and the timeline in writing, and ask directly about their fair-housing practices.

Steve Marino helped my friend and I find our first apartment. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking in the area. He was very helpful and offered well thought out suggestions. He also made the process very seamless and was timely the entire way. He made himself available to answer any questions we had and was patient while we went through our decision making process. Ask for him if you decide to work with Boston Premier!

we called them for serious enquiry for a restaurant, and they were playing around with us.

Phil was amazing! My boyfriend and I worked with him on an apartment recently. He went out of his way to get us into an apartment on the date we preferred and was VERY responsive. If I reached out to Phil I would hear back immediately. I also am someone with many questions and Phil took the time to answer each and every one of them. He’s a great guy and I recommend reaching out to him on your search for your new place :).

Jared was very attentive and kind through our time working together. He was able to answer all my questions and if he did not have an answer he quickly found them for us. Along with following up with us after moving in. Also picking up paperwork from our unit rather than us having to drive to drop it off. All in all a wonderful experience and I really appreciate everything Jared did for us.
