Boston Stone Works is a North Quincy shop built around one job: cutting and installing custom stone countertops for kitchens around the Greater Boston area. The company says it has been doing this since 2007, working out of a base on Quincy Shore Drive for what it counts as 19 years in business. The recent reviews follow a consistent script. Five new Google reviews landed in the last six months and none flagged a problem — one homeowner in June, after cycling through several other contractors on the same house, said working with Boston Stone Works was 'a breath of fresh air'; another in May pointed to organized scheduling and steady communication from start to finish; a third in March described picking the stone through post-install follow-up as 'seamless.' That's a short window, but it sits on top of a longer run: 29 reviews dating back to 2021 across five sources, and the average hasn't moved — 5 stars on Google (66 ratings) and 5.0 on Houzz (12 ratings). Nearly every account funnels through one staffer. Reviews credit either 'Muna' or 'Mona' — almost certainly the same person, the spelling just varies — with walking customers from slab selection to the final walkthrough, which is worth a direct question about who handles the job if that person isn't available. Houzz also lists a Better Business Bureau A+ rating alongside a few badges (a Houzz Award, NAPW, SBA), though a direct search of BBB's own site didn't turn up a profile matching this business to confirm it firsthand. For a kitchen countertop job specifically, this is a shop with a clean, multi-year run of reviews behind it and no negative pattern to point to. Confirm current lead times up front, and ask directly whether Muna (or Mona) will be the one running your project.

I went with Boston Stone Works for installing my kitchen and island countertops, and backsplash. After dealing with many contractors/businesses for other house projects, it was such a breath of fresh air to work with a business that is honest, reliable, professional, and amazing with communication! The folks who came in to do the template and install were amazing as well! I highly recommend Boston Stone Works and I will be going with them again in the future if opportunity presents itself. Thank you so much Muna for everything!

We had a great experience working with Boston Stone Works. The entire process was smooth and easy from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the project, scheduling was well organized, and everything was handled professionally. Mona, who was our main point of contact, was extremely responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. Our client is very happy with the countertop installation and final result. We would definitely recommend Boston Stone Works and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

I cannot recommend working with Boston Stone Works enough. They are BEYOND helpful. From picking out the stone, to install, to a post install follow-up the process was seamless, professional and the team is incredibly helpful. It is difficult to find quality, reliable work these days when it comes to renovations and they truly delivered.

I can't say enough good things about Boston Stone Works. From our first interaction to our last, the experience was first rate. Muna was a pleasure to work with from the start. She answered all of my questions, was incredibly responsive, and generally made sure the whole process ran smoothly. The team she sent out to install my new soapstone countertops was prompt, polite, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to work with BSW again myself or recommend them to others.
