A 2021 customer of Bragdon Energy Services said a driver named Abraham climbed through snow drifts to deliver oil while they were out of town. The company is in Millinocket, and Mike Bragdon of the business has been quoted on bangordailynews.com saying small oil dealers were struggling. In 2023, a customer said their furnace was running less than an hour after they called. A 2025 customer wrote that a technician came the day they called after a Rinnai heater stopped, replaced the tank and put propane in it. A 2025 reviewer named Ronnie and Steve and said a tank replacement went smoothly. A 2026 customer who bought a camp outside Millinocket about 12 years ago said they had upgraded their heating system with Bragdon and bought their propane from them. The same 2021 customer who described the snow-drift delivery also wrote that cleanings can sometimes be a while out. A recent customer called it one of the rudest companies they had dealt with.
““Small oil dealers — even big oil dealers — are all struggling right now,” said Mike Bragdon of Bragdon Energy Services in Millinocket.”
Honestly one of the worst, rudest companies I have ever dealt with.
We purchased our camp outside of Millinocket around 12 years ago. We started right out with Bragdon. We upgraded our heating system with them and have purchased our propane with faithfully. Mike Bragdon and crew are absolutely first rate. They have been so helpful and supportive through the years. If 10 stars had been an option I’d have clicked all 10. They’re the best in the Katahdin Region.
Bragdon Energy is the best! I had a Rinnai heater in the kitchen. Over the weekend I suddenly realized the furnace was running constantly and the heater was not. I was so cold. I called Bragdon's today thinking they would put me on a list. Instead their technician came today because they knew I was cold, replaced the tank and put propane in it. So nice here now. THANK YOU BRAGDON ENERGY !
Ronnie and Steve are excellent. Tank replacement went surprisingly smoothly, can’t recommend enough.
I've been using them for service for almost a decade and they've been great.
