A tree fell on a homeowner's roof during a wind storm, and the April 2025 Google review of what followed is the kind you hope for: the whole replacement described as easy and stress-free, with Kent named and his team called fast and efficient. Breault Roofing has been at this a long time — the company says it has been family-owned and working Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 1966 — and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 148739, is active in the state registry under the company's own name. Four written accounts, 2022 through 2025, all at five stars. A March 2025 Google reviewer wrote that the crew came on time, priced the job reasonably, took care not to damage anything in the yard and cleaned up when they finished. In 2022, an Angi customer who had collected multiple quotes said Breault was the most courteous of them and showed them what had to be done; a second 2022 reviewer said he explains everything he is going to do. The homeowner side is shingles and roof replacement, but a good share of what Breault lists is commercial: Duro-Last single-ply membranes, industrial roofing, crane rentals and gravel ballast removal. A 2017 trade-press article described a building owner hiring Breault, as an authorized Duro-Last contractor, to explore possible solutions on his roof. The listings do not entirely agree on the company's age. Angi and HomeAdvisor each credit 30 years of experience, half the 60 years the site and the Better Business Bureau profile give. On the platforms, Google shows 4.4 stars from seven ratings, while Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 from the same two reviews. The site also cites Rhode Island 83R and Massachusetts CS034761. For a shingle replacement in Westport, Dartmouth or New Bedford, particularly after storm damage, Breault is a straightforward call with an active state registration behind it. If the roof is flat or commercial, the Duro-Last work is the reason to ring them — ask which membrane system they would put down and what its warranty covers.
