The trade is hardscape and masonry: bluestone and granite patios, paver driveways and walks, retaining and dry-stack stone walls, outdoor fireplaces and kitchens, brick repointing and chimney work, plus landscape design. Names recur — Ben on the stone, Ashley on design and renderings, Josh on the crew — and so do two specific compliments: the site was left clean at the end of every workday, and the finished job matched the computer rendering they had been shown. The typical job cost quoted on Houzz runs $5,000 to $500,000, so pin down your number before design work starts. And the company trades under three names across directories — Brickstone, Brickstone Masonry, Inc., and Brickstone Landscape Construction & Masonry — all at the same Hingham address and website, so confirm which entity signs your contract. If you want stonework that looks like it belongs — walls, terraces, a patio built around a fireplace — this is a specialist with a long, unbroken run of five-star accounts. Ask for a recent reference, since the most detailed of those accounts are now several years old.
