Ask about Bristol Floors in Attleboro and you will mostly hear about one person. Across 49 Google reviews written between 2021 and 2026 — the company's Google page shows 4.7 stars from 82 ratings — the owner, Eric, is named in nearly every one, usually for how fast he answered. A 2024 customer called about refinishing a hardwood floor and said he was at the house within half an hour; another, writing in 2023, had a price the same night they phoned. The work itself is tile and floors, then bathrooms. Customers describe crumbling shower grout put right in 2025, a beverage-nook tile job finished in a single day in 2025, a complex tile pattern laid to a homeowner's specification in 2023, and — the most detailed account of the lot, from 2022 — three connecting rooms stripped down through mismatched subfloors before new waterproof laminate went down. Bathrooms come up as whole rooms rather than trim work: three bathrooms in one 2024 job, two more in a rental unit in 2025, a walk-in shower demolished and rebuilt in 2022, and a 2023 pair of 40-year-old bathrooms redone with new floors, showers and vanities. Several people are on their second or third job with the company. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, held under the name Bristol Floors LLC — worth knowing, because this shop does considerably more than lay floor covering, which on its own would be exempt from registration. Its BBB page carries an A-. Two things are worth raising before you call. The first is a split in the ratings: Angi shows 2.8 stars from two ratings, against Google's 4.7 from 82. Two ratings is a very thin base, but the gap sits there unexplained. The second is scope. Customers credit Eric with painting and roofing in 2024, a door replaced in 2022, and one 2023 reviewer says the company also handles electrical work — so if your job runs past tile and flooring, ask who actually performs each trade and under what licence. The written history is quieter lately: one review in the last six months, against thirteen across 2025. That is not a mark against the work, but the fullest accounts here are a year or more old. If your project is tile, a floor, or a bathroom rebuilt as a room, this is a small owner-run shop with a long, consistent run of praise for turning up when it said it would. Confirm the registration number, and get the scope in writing for anything outside flooring.
Very knowledgeable and helpful with options
Needed a patch fix on a section of flooring. They were able to come out to assess the damage and give me a quote same day. The following day they came and fixed it properly in a few hours. Great business highly recommend
Price aside, I don't think I could find anyone better for the bathroom reno we did. The affordable job is an added bonus at that point. Highly recommend these gentlemen. They very clearly know what they are doing!
Eric fixed the grout that was crumbling in my shower. He was able to schedule me in within a few days and my shower looks brand new! He even helped me replace a gasket last minute. Would definitely recommend!
Eric was the best! So efficient and professional! He was great at communicating with us throughout the entire project and was trustworthy and reliable. We are very happy with the results of the floor and how accommodating he was with our timeline! Thank you Eric! Highly recommend this company.
