The work is lawn mowing and trimming, full-service lawn care, outdoor landscaping and design, mulching, shrub trimming and removal, and snow plowing, for homes and commercial properties. Estimates are done face to face rather than over the phone — the company says a phone quote isn't fair to either side. What customers praise is specific and repeats: the cut and the edges. A May 2025 reviewer wrote that the mowing was clean, the edges sharp, and that neighbors commented on how it looked. In May 2024 someone called it the best edging their lawn had ever had, at a reasonable cost with flexible scheduling. A customer who has been with C2C since it started, and is in their 70s, wrote this February that Steve and his crew handle summer lawn care and winter snow removal and do the extras to keep them safe. The complaints are just as specific, and they cluster in one place. In February 2025 a customer described hiring C2C to plow after a snow and ice storm: the storm ended around 9:00 am, nobody had come by 6:30 pm, and texts and Facebook messages went unanswered until a phone call the next morning. A January 2024 reviewer with three properties said the crew did not show for the first storm of the season despite a promise of two visits per storm and repeated calls. In May 2023 another customer canceled after the lawn went unmowed into May with no explanation from the office, and in April 2022 someone said a call was never returned at all. Worth noting: a July 2025 customer said they had seen the weaker reviews, hired C2C anyway, and came away happy with polite crews and clean lines. So the mowing earns steady marks and the failures people write about are about showing up and answering the phone, most often on snow. Nothing negative has been written in the last six months.
