Six people have rated Cameron Real Estate Group on Google and the average sits at 1.7. Five of the six wrote one star, and the two newest are from June 2026 — this is a current pattern, not an old one. The complaints repeat the same shape. In June 2026 a buyer described the approach as pushy and repetitive, said a contract was sent to his wife to sign electronically but never to him, and said the agent went quiet when asked about the company's credentials. Another reviewer that month called an agent rude by name. A June 2025 reviewer said an agent skipped a scheduled property viewing and then never answered repeated attempts to get in touch; that April, a buyer purchasing from one of the firm's sellers described requests being disregarded and the process running several days past stipulated deadlines. The heaviest account is from July 2024, and it is about money: that reviewer said HOA and insurance funds were taken during a sale and never paid on, leaving the building to pursue legal action, and described paint coming off the walls in powder six months after work by the builders the company used. It is one person's account, but it is specific, and it is the thing to put to them directly. The other side of the ledger is real too. The company's Massachusetts real estate broker license is active under Cameron Real Estate Group, Inc. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade, though BBB also lists it as not accredited and publishes no reviews or complaint count there. BBB shows a firm incorporated in November 2012 with four employees, Thomas Cafarella as president, and a related business, Ocean City Development, LLC. On the investment side, r/tradedboston posts from 2024 recorded its agents on the buy side of a $1.7M Somerville multifamily and a $1.1M Winthrop multifamily. And in January 2022 a seller credited agent Michael Proulx with getting a house under contract in three days above the price expected. So: the praise is four years old and singular, the criticism is recent and concentrated on communication, follow-through and paperwork. If you engage them — most plausibly on the small-multifamily investment side where their 2024 deal activity sits — put every commitment in writing, require that documents go to every party on the contract, and ask about the 2024 escrow complaint before you sign anything.

Real pushy and repetitive. Definitely a reason why this comoany is so desperate. Wanted my wife to electronically sign some contract but never sent it to me. I confronted Evan about this company's credentials and he went silent. Stay far far far away. The reviews are right in line with what you can expect. Hope this review will save others from being victimized.
Extremely rude agent Susan Ghazian. Not surprised to see how low the reviews are if anyone else in this company speaks to people as disrespectfully as him.
Hands down the worst real estate agency, Not only did the real estate agent David tren flake on me when we planned for me to look at a property but i have tried several times to contact and get no response, these people are not worth your time effort or money
It was an unfortunate experience attempting to work with this real estate company to purchase from one of their sellers. The realtors exhibited a lack of communication and disregarded my requests, delaying the process until several days after the stipulated deadlines.
Not only did they take our HOA and insurance money during the sale and never paid either (the building has to take legal actions to rectify the financial deficit), this company works with terrible builders. Our paint is 6 months old and coming off the walls in powder form, the toilet is leaking every day and the shower drain continues to clog and push back out builder tools thrown into the drain during construction. With 90% of the seller paperwork filled incorrectly and requiring additional legal support, I urge everyone to RUN away from this group.
