Cape Resources is less a crew that shows up to landscape a yard and more a materials yard on Cape Cod — most of what reviewers describe here is buying mulch, loam or compost, or dropping off brush, leaves and stumps at the company's disposal facility in Marstons Mills. On that side of the business, the record over several years is strongly positive: reviewers repeatedly praise product quality, on-time delivery to the exact spot requested, and an office staff described as friendly and helpful year after year — several say they've bought mulch there for 15 or 20 years running. The company, family-run and recently renamed from CR Contracting, also advertises landscape construction work on its own site — excavation and site work, stone driveways, turf installation, putting greens — but none of the reviews here actually describe that side of the business; everything in the written record is about materials sales and yard-waste drop-off. That drop-off side is where the real complaints live. Several reviews from 2022 and 2023 describe dump fees that rose sharply and unpredictably — one reviewer described a $25 fee climbing to $45 and then $75 within a year, another called $75 for a small load of leaves absurd compared to a nearby transfer station charging $15, and a third, from 2022, described the yard often lacking space to dump and getting muddy. None of these complaints are recent — the last six months brought two reviews, both positive, and nothing in 2026 mentions pricing at all. The picture that emerges is really two businesses under one roof: a well-liked mulch and loam supplier with loyal, repeat customers, and a yard-waste drop-off operation that drew real pushback over pricing consistency a few years back. For buying materials, the record here is strong and consistent. For dumping yard waste, it's worth calling ahead to confirm the current rate before loading the truck. And for the landscape-construction work the company advertises — stone driveways, turf, excavation — there's simply no customer account here yet to go on.
La atención del personal es muy cordial
Always like visiting Cape Resources. Ladies in the office are always pleasent. This time I just had to drop off some brush and branches. Black loam looked really nice. Unfortunately I'm 72 and cannot do yard work like I use to.
Un lugar con un servicio de 5 estrellas personal muy educado y siempre ayudando según sea tu necesidad para depositar tus hojas, ramas, madera y mas, un lugar que todos los que trabajamos en landscape necesitamos para botar hojas, grama todo lo organico
Products are good quality and delivered on time at a reasonable price.
WE purchased a delivery of mulch for the gardens from Cape Resources. Our experience was wonderful. There was a miscommunication with where the mulch pile was dumped which created a problem but management at Cape resources sent out their guys and took care of it right away. The young guys were respectful and hard working. A great local company that really cares about customer satisfaction! How refreshing!
